Public Systems Associates, Inc., the makers of LEGISuite™, today introduce the new AUTO-Engrossing DocBuilder Application.
Tuesday, November 09, 2004 - Baton Rouge, LA Public Systems Associates, Inc., the makers of LEGISuite™, the Legislative Tracking Solution, today introduced DocBuilder™ Version 4.0; a new version of the software product aimed at utilizing XML based Amendment Templates and line numbering with WordML, giving House and Senate Clerks an AUTO-Engrossing feature currently not available in today’s market.

DocBuilder™ 4.0 combines a comprehensive Amendment Interface that allows you to build your modifications to legislation utilizing your current business process of your legislature. The product will be of tremendous value to House and Senate Clerks, Engrossing Clerks and IT Directors.

“This is a cutting edge product far superior to anything in the marketplace,” said Frank J. Rocco, Jr., the Chief Technology Officer of Public Systems Associates, Inc. “We expect tremendous excitement about this product.”

The software provides a well-designed document tagging operation, which ensures original line numbers are maintained, any clerk realizes this has been a problem with applications in the past. Legislators, their staff, and drafting and engrossing personnel now can see their chosen amendments inserted directly into the official version of the legislation, save multiple versions of the Amendment and then accept their changes.

“With DocBuilder™ 4.0, many clerks will now be able to avoid the pitfalls they have with current engrossing applications.” said Frank J. Rocco, Jr.
