Steering Your Way Through Legislative Tracking Solutions
Sunday, May 22, 2005 - Baton Rouge, LA Choosing a legislative tracking system is like choosing a car. In order to be satisfied, you have to find the right feature sets that will meet your particular needs, or more specific the needs of your legislative processes.

The challenge for city and local government, however, is knowing what feature sets to look for. There is a flurry of document and agenda management options on the market today and more are coming as the city and local municipalities move to the paperless age. Each of these document and agenda solutions take different approaches to processing tasks, thus forcing city clerks and IT staff to make some tough decisions during the selection process.

When analyzing legislative tracking solutions, the IT Staff’s task is simplified by taking an "inside-out" approach. In other words, start by looking at the underlying heart of the architecture—the application set—then move out methodically towards the user interface. Each step in the process will uncover strengths and weaknesses.

With that in mind, Public Systems Associates, Inc. will be presenting its Legislative Tracking Solution, LEGISuite™, at the 59th Annual International Institute of Municipal Clerk’s (IIMC) Conference. The IIMC Annual Conference is a 5 day conference providing an opportunity for IIMC members to share innovative ideas that will assist in meeting the challenges that face municipal government.

During your participation at the IIMC conference, we invite you to explore the features of our Legislative Tracking System.
